At Jen Shade Radio Riding Rising I share my pursuit of not only survival but growth, learning, happiness and peace.
Losing my father to a fatal heart attack when I was nine years-old and growing up in an abusive and alcoholic family, I found my way to radio where I thought thousands of adoring fans would make up for the love and support I lacked.
I was wrong.
It was the everyday path and motorcycle riding that started my process of learning and healing that will continue for the rest of my life. I have outrun cancer, cheated death and made every bad relationship decision you can imagine!
Sometimes I swear... I curse... I cry. I am STILL here. Better than ever.
